Peanuts LD Service and EverCall Plus are similar long distance services offered from Long Distance Post. The major difference between the two services offered is the switch platform that each service operates on and the different access systems each card uses. Peanuts LD and EverCall also differ slightly in their rates. The rates are very similar between the two lines, but small discrepancies can be noticed, enabling calling to certain areas cheaper with one service then other. For example on domestic calls Peanuts LD is billed at .1 cents per minute higher then EverCall Plus. While both services connect calls at high quality, calls connected through EverCall Plus will experience a higher voice and connection quality then that of Peanuts LD.
Peanuts LD also offers features, which are not available with EverCall Plus. Both services are capable of making calls from the United States, however Peanuts LD Service offers a variety of local access numbers and a toll free number. On Peanuts LD Service calling rates are billed differently depending on the access number used. Calls made using the New York City local access number will receive the lowest rates. On EverCall Plus the only access number available is a toll free number therefore only one set of a rates is applied to this card. Unlike EverCall Plus, Peanuts LD Service is capable of originating calls from all around the world. It offer's local access or toll free numbers in the following countries, Canada, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Mexico City, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In addition local access or toll free numbers for Peanuts LD are offered in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We continually add more local access numbers to Peanuts LD service enabling you to make calls from around the world.
Web triggered call back, a feature that allows you to make and schedule calls from anywhere around the world, is also exclusively offered through Peanuts LD Service. This unique feature makes international calling possible from countries without local access numbers. To read more about it, click here.
While there are differences between the two services, they have many similarities. Both cards offer advanced calling card features such as PIN-less dialing. This enables cardholders to pre-enter all phone numbers they will be accessing the cards from. When the access number is dialed at the prompt it will no longer ask you to enter a PIN, but enter the number you wish to call. PIN-less dialing makes your calling easier, quicker and eliminated the need to of entering several different numbers. Continually making your calling needs simpler both Peanuts LD Service and EverCall Plus also offer a speed dial feature. This allows users to store frequently called phone numbers into a phone book. Once speed dial has been set up cardholders can use two-digit dialing to access all of their phone numbers. This eliminates dialing time and error ensuring the maximum use of your card. To learn more about speed dial, click here.
Speed dial feature for Peanuts LD Service allows you to store up to 50 international and U.S. phone numbers you call most often, and then retrieve those numbers with a two-digit combination. Similarly EverCall Plus allows you to store up to 10 international and U.S. phone numbers that can also be accessed using the two-digit combination.

- Dial an access number. The Toll free number will be provided in you account confirmation e-mail. To find a local access number for you area click here. Use that link for a local access number for Peanuts LD Service from any of the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
- If you call from a number that is pre-approved for PIN-less dialing, you will hear your balance, however if calling from a different phone, you will need to enter your PIN.
- For International calls dial 011 + Country code + City code + Phone Number + "#"; For calls within/to USA, Canada, the Caribbean dial 1 + Area code + Number + "#"
Same instructions apply for calls from any other country.
If you are calling from your cell phone, make sure you do not press the 'Send' or 'Talk' key at the end. This may cause the call to go directly through your cell phone provider.
To place another call you can press the "#" key twice and wait for 5 seconds.
You can access our international country/city code database.
It is for your convenience only. Long Distance Post does not claim to have the most accurate information.
Using a local access number instead of the Toll free number will save you anywhere from 1/2 to 2 c/min. The calling procedure is exactly the same as using the Toll free number.
Please note, it is your responsibility to make sure that the access number that you dial is indeed local for you.
The calling procedure is exactly the same as when you call from a regular phone. However, here are a couple of hints when using a cell phone:
- Most cell phones now have free nation wide calling included as part of their plan, which makes it cost the same amount to dial the New York City local access number when using Peanuts LD Service. This will save you 1.5 cents per min compared to using the toll free access number.
- After you have dialed the full destination number, be careful NOT to press the "Send" or "Talk" button. Most cell phones today would open a second line and connect you directly to the number you just entered. Should this be the case you will be billed by your cell phone company at the rate they choose. One way to avoid this is to start using the speed dial feature of the Peanuts LD Service or EverCall Plus.
To turn on or off your balance and minutes announcement:
- Login to your account with your email and password.
- Go to Peanuts LD or EverCall Plus (depending on the service you have purchased).
- Click "Manage Service Account"
Click on the link that says "Balance announcement: Turn Off."
For Peanuts LD Service the speed dial feature allows you to store the 50 international and U.S. phone numbers you call most often, and then retrieve those numbers with a two-digit combination. Evercall Plus works the same way, however only holds a 10 international and U.S. phone numbers.
To use the speed dial:
- Dial a toll free or local access number.
- Enter your PIN if not calling from a phone number that is pre-approved for PIN-less dialing.
- Listen to your balance.
- Dial the speed dial code + "#" (for example, 1# or 2#, etc.).
To manage your speed dial:
- Login to your account.
- Go to Peanuts LD or EverCall Plus (depending on the service you have purchased).
- Click "Speed dial."
Here you can add or delete phone numbers that are stored in your speed dial. Please note that these numbers have nothing to do with the PIN-less dialing feature.
Speed dial can also be managed from your telephone:
- Dial a toll free or local access number.
- While you are listening to the balance of the account, press star "*".
- Select 2 to access the Speed Dial administration menu.
- Select the speed dial code you'd like to review or change + "#" (for example, 1#).

- Follow steps 2 to 5 to enter other speed dial codes.
Press "0" to exit the administration menu.
Both, your PIN and toll free access number were sent to you in the original e-mail when you purchased Peanuts LD Service or EverCall Plus. You can also find this information:
- Login to your account with your email and password.
- Go to Peanuts LD or EverCall Plus (depending on the service you have purchased).
- Click "Manage Service Account"
A local access number for your area and the toll free number will be listed in the top left-hand corner of the page. Your PIN is the same number as your account number.
It is possible that your one minute call will cost you 12 c/min even though the rate shown is 10 c/min.
Here is the math: 10 c/min + 11% surcharge = 11.1 cent
As rounding is done up to the next cent, your will see a charge for one minute call of 12 cents.
However, if you look at the call longer then 1 minute to the same destination, then you will see your actual cost. For example 20 minute call to the same destination will cost 11.1 * 20 = $2.22 cent. This is exactly 11.1 c/min including the surcharge.
Peanuts-LD service offers two different re-dialing functions:
1. Dial New Number Feature - While on the call, just dial ## and wait for 5 seconds or so. You will be prompted to dial a new destination number. That eliminates dialing again the local access number and the PIN if you need to make a second call or redial the same number.
2 Redial Last Dialed Number - This feature will re-dial again the number you dialed the last time before you hung up the call. Even if it was yesterday or a month ago. Just dial **# after prompted to dial the destination number, and the system will dial for your the last dialed number.

If you are a first time customer, we will need to verify your order before we send you a confirmation email. Verification calls will occur within 24 hours of your purchase from us. For quicker verification feel free to call us after your order has been submitted.
If you are an existing customer, then you can try the following:
- Check your "Spam box" or "Bulk mail" folder in your email. Sometimes email providers block our emails for your protection. If this is the case, make sure to add "helpdesk at ldpost dot com" to the "white list" of your email service.
- Login to your account and select "Peanuts LD" or "EverCall Plus" on the next screen. It will take you to your Peanuts account. Your Account number (PIN) will be shown on all of the account pages.
If you get a message on the screen that you do not have a Peanuts LD account with us, then this may be due to one of the following reasons:
- You did not complete all steps when placing the order. In this case your order was never processed. You will need to place the order again.
- Your credit card was declined. In this case you would get a message on the screen with explanation.
If you are still unsure call us and we will help you trouble shoot the problem.
First of all, make sure that your number is entered correctly in your Peanuts LD Service or EverCall Plus account. To do this:
- Login to your account with your email and password.
- Go to Peanuts LD or EverCall Plus (depending on the service you have purchased).
- Click "Manage Service Account."
Where it says Phone Numbers, you should see all phone numbers listed for PIN-less dialing with this service. Please note that the "Speed Dial" section is for destination numbers only. Placing your phone number in this section will not set it up for PIN-less dialing.
Make sure you are dialing a correct access number. You can use 800-530-8750 or one of the local access numbers
Also, make sure your caller ID is not blocked. To unblock it, you should either call your local company or dial *82 before the access number each time you call.
If you are calling from your work phone, check if your office uses a PBX system with several outside lines. You might be getting a different line every time you place a call. You can experiment and call your cell phone to see what number shows on the caller ID. In any case, we recommend that you refrain from adding work phone numbers if other people might use the same line.
If none of the above helps, please call Customer Service at 1-800-640-2599.
If you get a similar message, please try the following:
Make sure you use the correct format for placing long distance calls. Please follow the correct dialing instructions:
- For International calls dial 011 + Country code + City code + Phone Number + "#"
- For calls within/to USA, Canada and the Caribbean dial 1 + Area code + Number + "#"
If error message continues to play, check the number you are dialing. Make sure you are dialing the correct country and city code.
Make sure you wait for the prompt "Please dial the destination number" before you start dialing. Also keep in mind that the system will wait for the number 20 seconds after the prompt. If you dial too slowly, the destination phone number will not be entered in full.
Certain that you have done all of the following steps correctly? Give us a call and we will help you troubleshoot the problem 1 (800) 640-2599.
It is possible that you have turned the balance announcement off by accident.
To turn on your balance and minutes announcement:
- Login to your account with your email and password.
- Go to Peanuts LD or EverCall Plus (depending on the service you have purchased).
- Click "Manage Service Account"
- Click Balance announcement: "Turn On."
No. Long Distance Post is not responsible for lost or stolen account information.
We recommend that you do not disclose your account information to anyone. If you have visitors and you want them to temporarily use your service, you can add (and then later remove) their phone numbers to your account, instead of giving them your PIN code.
Also, we recommend that you do not add your work phone number to your account if you are not the only person using this phone. Some of the calling cards share the same carrier with the Peanuts LD Service or EverCall Plus and if someone tries to use one of these cards he/she might end up using your account because it is activated for PIN-less dialing.
This usually happens if instead pressing the "#" key, you press the "Send" or "Talk" button after dialing the destination number. This causes most modern cell phones to open a second line and place the call to the dialed number directly. In this case you would see in your cell phone statement two calls - one short call to our access number and a second call to the destination number.
Unfortunately, we have no control over such cell phone feature.
In order to prevent this from happening, you can request from your cell phone provider to block all international calls dialed directly from your phone.
You can also start using our Speed Dial feature. This way you will be dialing a two-digit code instead of the destination number and even if you press the "Send" or "Talk" key by mistake, your cell phone will not be able to connect you directly.
Most likely, what you see as a charge on your credit card is only an Authorization - an incomplete transaction that will disappear shortly. You should see this incomplete transaction as "Authorization", "Pending Debit" or something similar - it depends on the bank that you use.
Authorization is the first stage of every credit card transaction - making sure that you have enough funds available. After that the system proceeds with verifying your information. If the transaction doesn't go through for some reason, the authorization usually disappears in 24 hours to several days - again it depends on your bank.
